Jason is a Los Angeles based Art Director, Graphic Designer and Set Designer with over 20 years of experience in film, television, theater and event design. Growing up in the midwest far from the lights of film and television, he found an early love for visual storytelling in the theater. Jason went on to study Theatrical Design at the University of Southern California where he graduated magna cum laude and received a BFA degree.
Establishing roots in Los Angeles, he honed his craft in the entertainment industry on series such as That 70s Show, Will & Grace, Weeds, CSI:NY, The Mentalist, Blunt Talk and recently with Netflix’s House of Cards and 13 Reasons Why. A proud member of the Art Directors Guild, Jason has worked extensively in Los Angeles and on location around the United States.
As a Graphic Designer, Jason excels in branding, signage, marketing materials and previz work. As an Art Director, he creates cohesive designs from conception to camera. Beginning with thorough research, Jason develops thorough concepts, drawings and collaborates well with a team to bring designs to life - all while adhering to tight budgets and timelines.
